The Power of Prayer
“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”
Jesus set an example for us to live a lifestyle of prayer, to be in constant communication with God. We should come before Him with both praise and supplication, knowing that all good things come from God.
God hears and answers our prayers according to His will. He wants us to come before him in faith, and our prayers will be answered according to His will and on His timetable. When Jesus taught us to pray, he showed us that before even asking for our own needs to be met, we should acknowledge, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:9-13)
